El título del disco es la traducción de una frase tomada del libro The Gentrification of the Mind: Witness to a Lost Imagination, donde Sarah Schulman habla sobre la gentrificación de barrios en la Nueva York de los 80s a partir de la epidemia de sida, haciendo una analogía con la privatización del sistema educativo en Estados Unidos. Sarah Schulman afirma que ha encontrado formas de resistencia en su día a día y desde su casa, donde recibe alumnos que no pueden acceder a otras formas de preparación.

Amina Cyu, con algunas presentaciones en vivo en su trayectoria y el EP Jardín Negro, publicado en junio de este mismo año por la disquera tijuanense Static Discos, nos invita a conectar con las maravillas invisibles de cada día.

Two ambient pieces modeled on digital synthesizers and samples. The textures of each line and their layers of effects generate subtle surprises and sonic paths. A New Definition of Happiness is a two-sided piece that reminds us that the Moon has no dark side.

The title of the album is the translation of a phrase taken from the book The Gentrification of the Mind: Witness to a Lost Imagination, where Sarah Schulman talks about the gentrification of neighborhoods in New York in the 80s in part as a result of the AIDS epidemic, making a analogy with the privatization of the educational system in the United States. Sarah Schulman says that she has found forms of resistance in her day to day and from her home, where she receives students who cannot access other forms of preparation.

Amina Cyu, with some live performances in her career and the EP Jardín Negro, published in June of this year by the Tijuana label Static Discos, invites us to connect with the invisible wonders of every day.
